Dreamspeakers International Film Festival is pleased to announce the return of our YOUTH DAY event for Thursday, September 21, 2017. This year we start a new venture in changing our approach to teaching youth about filmmaking. We want youth to participate in a great media opportunity, which will help us spread out to a wider audience in social media. We want to be the ‘go to’ film festival for Aboriginal Youth in Canada. 14 Youth professionals are contracted to assist in the production of this promo video.
The idea for this year is to bring YOUTH together and make a promo video for our website, Facebook page, Twitter and any other social media purposes we use to promote our film festival. We want dynamic youth who are willing to be filmed and learn the aspects of filmmaking for a day. Their faces will be representing our Dreamspeakers Youth Day event promotions for the next few years.
Youth Day will consist of rehearsal with professional writers, music producers, filmmakers, actors, choreographers and getting prepared to film! Lunch, T-shirts and an Arts Career Fair will be provided.
